Here are some suggestions to insulate your windows and keep your home warmer during this crazy winter:
- Buy some rubber sealing to close any gaps where you feel drafts coming in.
- Get some insulation film, which clings inside your windows as an extra layer.
- Cellular shades do a decent job of keeping the cold out while still letting light in.
- Heavy or layered curtains provide a good way to keep out both cold and light.
- If you enjoy DIY, you can make Draft Snakes — fabric tubes filled sewn shut with rice inside.
