Have you ever considered placing your bed in front of a window or in a corner? If you have a small room or windows on each wall, you may have had some trouble figuring out how to arrange your bedroom furniture. Placing your bed in front of a window, while normally taboo, can look really great as long as you have the right window treatment and lighting. By using shades you are able to block light without needing space in front or to the sides of your window, making it possible to place furniture in front of it. In a corner make sure there is enough light provided to each side of the bed, either with a window and/or overhead lighting.
